Hi, I am in urgent to find out what should i use for yield stress in drucker prager hardening.

I managed to convert MC parameters to DP parameters for 2D using ABAQUS guide, but its different for 3D model.

According to this page, it says that I can get beta, K and compressive stress sigma c0, but I need the yield stress for drucker prager hardening. (It was cohesion with the symbol d for 2D model)

There is a conversion formula from sigma c0 to d, but I think that is also for plane strain application.

Please help if anyone knows about anything. Thank you in advance.

Such conversions between different material models can be very tricky. It would be best to calibrate the new model using data from physical tests or to just find the appropriate inputs in research papers (discussing the same or similar materials).

Noted, thank you very much. I am considering using MC model for my 3D model right now, and after going through the documentation, I assume that MC parameters can be the same for both 2D and 3D model, am I right?
