drum brakes and proportioning valves

Have some 4 wheel drum brake cars been fitted with proportioning valves/ pressure limiting valves from the factory?

Proportional valves weren't in serious production until front discs became popular.
They would make sense for a drum/drum system with serious f/r asymmetry, like a pickup truck, and I think some pickups were built that way, but I'm not remembering cars so equipped.

Of course I misremember a lot these days...

They were definitely used on all drum-brake light trucks in the UK such as my Commer.

I expected the drum braked 1963 Corvette stingray might, but the SAE paper does not mention it.
