Guys;

I am just starting on a new project to finshout a tenant space for a dry cleaner. This is a brand new shell space with no AC currently. Can you guys advise on what the codes are for ventillation on dry cleaners. They will do cleaning on-site. I want to be sure to minimize cutting a lot of holes on the roof. This is space about 30 by 60 ft long. End wall is an exterior wall. What should I watch out for? Project is in Dallas, TX.

I am planning to use RTU's.
Regards,

Also, be sure to go by NFPA 32 -for Dry Cleaning Plants.

Would the equipment supplier deliver a package that would have specifice water/HVAC etc requirements?
Does anyone know of a supplier of dry-cleaning equipment where I could get info/data?

thanks,

Golestan their equipment will definitely have specific HVAC & plumbing requirements (exhaust, water, sewer, etc). We are not the people to ask, you need to get the cut sheets specific to the equipment being installed in your space. This will also tell you what kind of chemicals you are dealing with. There are several different dry cleaning process and they use different chemicals. This can be a big deal depending on your jurisdiction.
