Maytag model MLE19PN (could be MLB19PN)

According to manufacturer's data we can install a 4" vent pipe to 65 feet with no 90 degree turns. We have 3 90 degree elbows. With that the length comes down to 28 feet.

We need to go 10 feet in vertical to ceiling and then another 50 feet horizontal to the outside.

Can we go to a 6 or a 8 inch vent or use some fan or special elbows so that we can go 60 feet?

Two of the turns are inside the building and once its outside we are counting that as the third elbow. If there is a louvre there, does that count as the third elbow?

It will be wayyyyyy more helpful to ask the dryer manufacturer if he will give you a fan curve for the fan or tabulated fan capacities, ie, static pressure vs cfm.

Then you can vary the ductwork any way you want.

manuf data does not show fan curve just length on a 2-1/2" vent pipe and a 4" vent pipe. Something like above calc would help if someone has installation at 60 ft -- found it on web.

As I see from your codes tables, 5" duct has 3 times lower pressure drop per linear feet then 4" duct, so you shouldn't have any trouble using it for your lengt.

Watch your velocity...
Dryer vent is sized to convey the lint, not on a pressure drop of the air. Flex is a no-no for anything other than connecting.
As with kitchen exh systems, the grease/lint needs motivation or the duct fills up.
The lint will build up & issues will arise, not the least being fire...
Ask the code officials as I've run into some states &/or cities that don't allow booster fans.

Issues with upsizing duct must be addressed.
