DSA Code Compliance

For those with expereince with DSA - Calfiornia Division of State Architect:

The DSA website states:
"The divsiion of the State Architect provided design and construction oversight for K-12 schools, community collges and various other state-owned and leased facilites."

How would I determine if my instittuion falls under their jurisdiction? I have a project for a university in the UC system but it is not clear from quote above. Just wondered if someone knew of a list that is accessible, otherwise my plan is to call directly.

Also, those of your with experience with DSA, how does their inspection process work or whats the level of their oversight?

If you are not familiar with the matrix adoption tables, the state has the Guide to Title 24 California Building Standards Code:

. The guide states: "Enforcement including plan review and inspection is carried out by the California Department of General Services for buildings to be occupied by state agencies, and by the University of California and California State University for campus projects."

One other thing that I don't think the guide mentions. If it is a University of California hospital project, OSHPD is involved.
