However, don't confuse DSAW with double-seamed pipe.

DSAW is welded from the inside and outside of the pipe.

Double seamed pipe is two longitudinal welds, 180 deg apart.

Having been on the API 5 committee ( long ago) , I don't remember DSAW ever being discussed as being pipe with two weld seams.

DSAW doesn't exist in API Spec 5L. The term "double seam pipe" does.
