dual band antenna

Hi,
I want to 868/915MHZ dual band antenna. What do you recommend for high-gain antenna ? Loop or microstrip or another.

Can't say I've ever heard a microstrip in the 900MHz range considered "high gain"... [wink]

Ok.What can I do in the dual-band antenna design? Is there a type of antenna that you can suggest?
 
If you tell us what you're trying to accomplish, we can provide more useful feedback. Otherwise, we're trying to hit a moving target.

Why do you need more gain than, say, a typical whip. Do you need omni-directional? Etc.

excuse me.I started learning the new antenna design.I do not know exactly what to ask why. I have to design omni-directional and dual-band antenna for 868/915 MHz.I am try to loop antenna using CST for 868MHz. But I do not know how dual-band. I hope you can help.
 
Omni-directional combined with high gain implies a tall colinear array or similar. Omni gain. Not a Yagi, not a log periodic.

868 to 915 (nominally) is only about a 2.5% bandwidth around the middle 891.5 MHz. So, maybe treat it as a wide bandwidth antenna problem, which should be easier.

 
Bicone or monocone. 45 degree flair angle. Simplest antennas to build.
 
No gain.
and 30-37.5 degrees has a wider bandwidth.
