4 Studies Show that Using a Second Monitor Can Boost Productivity...
I agree at 100% with this idea.
I use this solution since 3 year ,
and i realy boost my work.
This want to be a suggestion or a discussion.
Advantage for me:
Catalog on the second monitor.
Other program on second monitor.

[green]To the Toolmaker, your nice little cartoon drawing of your glass looks cool, but your solid model sucks. Do you want me to fix it, or are you going to take all week to get it back to me so I can get some work done?[/green]

Why not have one big monitor? Is having two different screens the helpfull. I have two 22 inch flat screens. I love it. We use a program called ultramon which keeps your open programs per what screen they are on.

I've used 2 for 12 years, its the only way to go

I've just started using a second, makes a huge difference! Great for having drafts open while modelling,
saves so much space compared to having paper copies on the desk.

This is what I mean, before start using two monitors
I didn't Realize the advantage
calculating the low cost of a monitor to give it a try (or recycling a monitor not used)
About recycling, how much less paper used.

Sadly NX isn't made for two monitors.
I use the assembly and part navigator on the second screen, but you can't lock them on the second screen. They are just floating around on my second screen. And every time i switch between drawing, part or sheetmetal the part and assembly navigator jumps in front of each other. It's very annoying and drives me mad.

I started a topic a while ago about the same subject...
In there I have described how I did my setup as I was facing the same issues as VW181.
Maybe you can take it to you advantage as well.
