i am working on a project where i am using braced frames on x- direction and ordinary moment frame on y-direction.
whether this structure needs to be designed as dual system or analysis with seismic + x with R value of braced frame and seismic +Y with R-value of OMF is enough for the seismic design of structure.

thanks

This is not a "dual" system per ASCE 7.
A dual system is when you have two different bracing systems working together in the same direction.

For your case, where you have two different systems working independently in separate directions, you simply use the applicable R value for each direction.
