Dummy solid model from external surface of large assembly- NX 8.5

Is there any easy and fast way to create a Dummy solid model from a large assembly [800+ parts].We need only the external features.
Would like to remove all holes/threads/slots etc from this model.

This model is required to generate a STL file.

Yes, we have a function called 'Simplify Assembly' (use the Command Finder).
