Hello,

is it possible to find and delete duplicate solids (no parameters, just dumb solid bodies) in nx7?

Thanks

Duplicate as in only geometry? Or also in the same position?

to SamSlivinski: duplicate geometry in the same position.

to kapmnit123: we do not have licence for the checkmate.

Hi,
I don't think we have an automated tool (was aware of Checkmate only). but there is a workaround
Use Analysis/Assemby Clearance (in your case we will do the check for multiple bodies in a single part file so in the clearance properties choose BODY in the CLearance set type option.
In the Interference Geometry tab choose SAVE INTERFERENCE SOLID (layer set as per your convenience)
Then Perform the analysis this will give you a hint of where possible overlappings can be there ...
Perhaps you can refer to the layer where interference solids are saved to get an idea about the probable overlappings...

Sorry but i am not aware of anything else.
Best Regards

You can try export the solid as a parasolid/step file and import it back again in your part.

Best regards,

Michaël.
