Hi,

I use Mechanical Desktop 6. Every thing is drawn in 3D. We now have a need to convert some aspects of these 3D models into 2D DXFs. I've read in the help file that this is not possilbe, can someone recommend a package that might?

Cheers,

Marc

With MDT6 you can export drawing views from a 3D model to Autocad 2D or Autocad DXF, Go into a drawing file then in the layout page you can use an feature called "Export view" that you can find under "Drawing". I don't know if it's what you are looking for but maybe it can help.

Good luck

Patrick
