Dynamo Question!

Hi Everyone

Sorry I am a complete novice at this.

Unfortunately my father passed away, and we’ve been clearing out the garage.

We found this, which I believe is a Dynamo but it seems to be a special one used as a teaching aid?

Anyone any ideas where I could try and sell this and anyone any links to any online so I can start to price it up and get the correct specifications for the listing?

Nice pictures.
That is an automotive alternator.
Typically used on gasoline and diesel engines, both vehicular and stationery to charge the battery.
That is a cutaway for teaching purposes.
Try any technical schools in your area.
A thought: If you give it to a school, it may go into storage and never be seen again.
If you sell it, they won't buy it unless they intend to use it.
For that reason, I would sell it unless it is very obvious that it will be put to use as a teaching aid.
If an instructor, on seeing your treasure, calls some of his students over to look at it, that is a good sign that it will be put to good use.
