Earth fault relay

Hi Guys,

I need a help in looking for a procedure on how to set an earth fault relay
What are parameters needed, (eg. short circuit fault, etc..)

I think you should start asking:
- earth fault current value
- grounding system (low R, high R, Peterson coil)
- CT connection (core CT or serial connection of the phase CTS)
- CT data (ratio)
- system configuration (voltage level, how many parallel branches, branches lengths)
You could need an earth directional relay
