Hello
Don't know if this is in the right forum but I'm looking for some tips on analysis of the earthquake reponse of an elevated mass. I have the mass, the natural frequency and the damping coefficient. I am also told the ground acceleration due to the earthquake can be approximated by the constant spectrum So=0.0075m2/s3.
I am struggling as to how to use this in an attempt to find the frequency response function of the mass and the mean square response of displacement.
Any pointers??
Thanks
