The third large is CooperTools:
I have more smaller firms with specialist solutions if you want.

Take a good look at the tensioning-techniques they use, because it can make a great difference in result. The most accurate ones ar very expensive.

Just out of curiosity as I have had many jobs where I could NOT use an electric impact wrench (aside those where TS bolts are required). What use would REQUIRE the use of an electric gun?

PS---Industrial grade electric guns are LARGE, expensive, delicate, heavy, usually NOT adjustable but available from Chicago Industrial, Makita, B&D, among others.

Just to answer evelrod, Electric torque guns are used on many automated assembly lines when you need to to monitor torque and angle (number of turns) and then record this data.

Okay. Most of the assm line stuff I've seen was either pneumatic or hydraulic--- robot'gang wrenches', that sort of thing. Most all of my 'work' was outside. Thanks.

Corypad is right. Atlas Copco is probablly the best in what they have to offer. I have had complaints ref their field service. However, they are closely tied to RSTechnology and use their software for controlling and analysis of what the drivers are doing. That is also in their favor.

I used electric drivers on all our production lines in Mexico due to their accuracy, repeatability and ease of preventive maintenance. They were Ingersol-Rand.

I am currently using ASG drivers for all my laboratory testing. Their email is asginfo@asg-jergens.com

We helped setup Crovette in Bowling Green with their electric drivers, so don't be afraid to go electric.
