I'm looking for a good Electrolytic Marking System.
We have never used one for labeling our parts, so I don't really know what to look for, or what to expect in monthly cost.

We need something that's not time consuming and easy to use. Our shop isn't a high production shop, mostly two to five parts at time. Shipping about 15-20 parts per day.

This is the module that I'm looking at now.

If anyone can give me some feedback on this system or point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.

This is system I've used in the past:

I used it for removing weld heat stains on stainless steel for cosmetic reasons, but it works quite well for it's original purpose of marking as well.

Thanks fastasleep.

A friend of mine at another shop recommended them as well. I've been talking to a sales rep. at that company, but since my CEO want's me to buy one "today" I don't have enough time to research other products.

I didn't realize they could be used for removing heat stains. Thanks for the tip.
