Hi Everyone, i want to perform element quality check and it is very specific quality criteria as given in table 6-2 below. But this table is for LS Dyna, but its been a bit tricky to understand. few questions i have are:
1) the term "tolerance" in the element quality tool on FEMAP. is it < X, where "X' is the tolerance, does it mean anything more than "X' is bad or the other way round. Because as per my criteria table , Quad skew should be less than 45 when i try to impose this on FEMAP it would be Quad skew tolerance <45 (meaning its bad if its less than 45?) ? i am kind of lost here.
2) my mesh has CQUAD , TET10 , And tria elements. For CQUAD the checks are fine . But for solid tet i can only check AR, Jacobian but what about min and max internal angles, skew, warpage.? is it covered if i just check for tria elements . or i am missing something?
3) also, if you mind checking the FEMAP element quality that i input to check for 95% of elements would be great.
