Hello all,

I found a problem in my simulation, there is a warning that the element type is not available for the simulation. I consider it is the problem causes my rebound process not to act as the material values I give. The property I gave to my model is water property, in realistic, liquid will not bounce at all. I am not sure if it is only element type causes unrealistic result, or I need to define more thing for the visualization I expect?

I attached the cae file here. Hope someone can take a look and help~

Thanks a lot in advance!

I assume that you are talking about the "Output request ... is not available for element type c3d8r". These are nothing to worry about. They just mean that some of the requested variables can't be calculated in this analysis. But most likely you don't need them anyway.

So I am just wondering why the simulation is not realistic. Since all properties I gave to the sphere model is water property, in reality, it actually should not bounce upon striking on a rigid plate (for example an aluminum plate as my setting). I want to know what else I should gave in the simulation to make the final result looks correct~
Thank you in advance!!
