Hi,

When I send an email of a document; which I don't want modified, or the receiver does not have the program, I will PDF the file.

On my system, I go to print the file, then select print PDF. It will prompt me for a new file name, and saves it with the PDF extension.

The software I have is ADOBE.

Otherwise, have project installed on your bosses computer.

I will often save the document as a HTML that can easily be view by a browser. To do this, open your project in MS Project and go to [File] [Save as]. In the 'Save as type' drop-down box choose 'Web Page *.HTML'. It will then prompt you to select an Import/export map. As far as I can tell none of these maps are exactly like the "Gantt Chart view", but the data is similar.

You can then easily attach the html file to an email and send it on.

You can take a snapshot of your schedule using the "Copy picture" in your tool bar and save it as a GIF image file.
I hope this could help.

Your boss can keep an evaluation mode MS Project valid for 60 days and use it for his viewing and if the activity is to prolong for more than that, he may purchase a license, which will not cost more than 600 US $.
