I had forgotten about this. Thought I'd share.
I used to embed the eDwg of a SW file into the SW file's Design Binder, or you can make it a separate file.
From eDrawings help:
You can embed eDrawings files in other documents as OLE objects.
To embed eDrawings files in Word or PowerPoint files:
1.Open a new document in Word or PowerPoint®.
2.Click Insert, Object.
3.Select eDrawings 2006 Control for Object type, then click OK.
4.Right-click the eDrawings Control box and select Properties.
5.For FileName, click , browse to any eDrawings file to insert, then click OK.
The path to the file appears.
6.Select EnableFeatures, then browse to the Property Pages dialog box.
7.Set the options, then click OK.
8.Close the Properties box.
9.To view the eDrawings file:
-Exit Design Mode (Word)
-View the slide show (PowerPoint)
