I'm hoping to finalize a design for a precast pea gravel concrete wall panel to serve as a stay in place form for cast in place concrete. It will be a non braced system to hopefully contain form pressure of 1500 psf at the bottom of a ten foot pour. My concern is that the embedded expanded steel along with concrete displacement created by styrofoam embedment will be strong enough. I have worked out equations setting shear strength at 2 x sqrt 4000 x bo (perimeter) x d (depth). Since the panels will be stacked vertically, there will be compressive force which according to eqn (11-4) may increase the multiplier two to three. Any thoughts or clever ideas would be greatly appreciated. Would glass or steel fiber (Helix) be a no brainer addition?
Looking at first smaller pull out area affecting larger panel intersection.
