Dear guys,
I want to invest in a electro-magnetic FEA software,
I know Maxwell 3D, Ampere 3D, and Flux 3D, and I found on internet EMS (which is working with SolidWorks).
I'm just curious to know if it's a good product and its cost.
Does anybody knows about that software?
In advance thank you,
Best regards,

Take a look at Infolytica's MagNet software. I'm a satisfied user, not connected in any other way. Very good software, good support, good results.

Let me second dgallup - and I've tested/used a LOT of magnetic software (ANSYS, Opera, AMPERES, COSMOS) and I also consider MagNet my favorite. And definitely spring for the parameterization module.

One other thing: almost all commercial FEA packages will let you do a trial. Since this is a pretty major purchase, why not figure out a couple of canonical systems you want to study and see how easy it is to go "0 to 60" on the various packages, and how much you like the experience? This is how I settled on MagNet.

Another vote for Magnet by Infolytica. Use it daily for over 20 years.

Since this is becoming a poll, I vote for Amperes. Been using it for 15+ years with good success. It can import geometry from SolidWorks, which is extremely helpful.

FYI: I wrote an FAQ for links to companies selling magnetic modeling software. If anyone has any corrections or updates, please let me know:
