Engine testing, boosted air supply control

I was watching this F1 documentary where they show an engine on the dyno and they use an industrial compressor to provide boosted air
What kind of control strategy would be used here for pressure control ?

It doesn’t take much. If you’re testing individual points then you can manually adjust the pressure whenever you want between test points. If you’re sweeping speed with varying pressure then you need a feedback loop and control valve. In either case, it’s usually advisable to have a buffer tank upstream of the intake to dampen pulsation.
