Hi There,

I have an issue with Epanet. two links in series, same diameter, same flow, same roughness, different length and friction factor for one of the links is magnitude larger than for the other one. They are supposed to be the same, so why the difference?

It is links 123 and 124 in the attached file.

I would appreciate any help to get to the bottom of this.

Thanks

Friction factor is a function of the distance of the pipe, i.e., f in EPANET is f per 1000 ft of pipe because headloss is for 1000 ft of pipe.
