Hi,

Please help me!
I recieved an RFQ, wich include some EPDM material.
Due I'm not a master on these type materials (maybe my english is not so good too - I'm working on it)I ask for your help!

EPDM to ASTM D200 4MAA 510 A13 B13 C12 - What does it mean?
Can you advise me a named material?

Thanks
Gagar

It took me 30 seconds on google to find a significant amount of information.

Give it a try before you ask others to invest time.

What is an RFQ other than another TLA

The standard is ASTM D2000 not D200. EPDM is a type of thermoset rubber (elastomer).

.
Etylenepropylenediene rubber (EPDM) "hence the acronym"
.
* Excellent resistance to weathering
* Good heat stability
.
Used on top of commerical roofs and used in automotive weather-stripping and seals, glass-run channel, radiator, garden and appliance hose, tubing, belts, electrical insulation, roofing membrane, geomembranes, rubber mechanical goods, plastic impact modification, thermoplastic vulcanizates and motor oil additive applications.

the 4mAA 510 A13 etc....designates the type and class, each alpha-numberic group rates it as a different charateristic
If you have the ASTM D2000 it will explain it all.
