Hello all,

I want to take any irregular surface/face that I choose and either divide it into lets say 12 equal patches of the same area. Or equally useful would be to place 12 objects on the surface/face all equally spaced apart from each other.

Does anyone know a method to do this? Or something similar with curves or patterns or something? It's finding the spacing and locations to place those 12 objects that I am after. (12 is arbitrary just as an example. See image)

Thank you.

I assume that this could be done using the algorithmic modeling rules.
( I do not know how)
