Unless I'm unaware of it, I don't see any way to include equations within the threads. I resort to put images with equations in them.
As an engineering forum, it is unfortunate. Is there a way to push "MathML" in the interface?
Is there a forum for "user suggestions" so people can post suggestions?

I occasionally do the formula in SMath (MathCAD like program) and use Windows 'cut and paste' <Win><Shift><S> to paste it... You can include the formula only and not the other stuff.

Joel_Lapointe,

I wrote a FAQ on how to incorporate all sorts of symbols into your posts...

Good suggestion dik. Quick and simple and no detailed stuff to work out.

On the other hand sometimes it's good to be aware of the other tools available to us. Good stuff posted by drawoh

... in a similar vein:

* There is a list of symbols available if you click the Ω icon in the toolbar just above the edit/reply window.

* If you click the question mark on the right side of that same row, and THEN scroll way down, you will see some pointers for TGML (Tecumseh Group Markup Language) which is used on eng-tips.
