Hi guys, I'm new to Catia and I'm trying to create a plane normal to a curve. But this error keeps appearing:

What am I doing wrong and how would I fix this?

You are trying to create a plane from a curve on a sketch that contains multiple open curves. In the Plane Definition box set Plane type to Normal to Curve, right click in Curve area and select Extract. Select the curve you would like for plane normal construction.

Make the sketch connex if you can.

As DB said, your sketch has multiple lines that are not connected to on another. Either connect the lines, if they are sop posed to be connected...or you have to extract the line you want to attach the plane to.

you can use Tools --> Sketch Analysis

During sketch edit to check the status of the geometry and to try to make a connected sketch.
