Hi,

Scenario:
I have a rectangular bone plate bar in which half of it is fixed and I want to see the torsion stress as the bar is twisted
I am applying a moment to the plate (6x2x1) at the 2in end at one of the ends(the midpoint of the 2in side).

It is giving me an error of ErrNodeBCInactiveDof. I am not sure if I am doing this correct and I would love any advice.

Thanks,
Jerry

Inactive dof usually implies you've applied a boundary condition to an inactive dof, such as freedom 4 for a 3D solid, or have contact where that dof has been removed by the contact condition and then you're trying to impose a boundary condition. Look in Viewer to see where the node set of these errors is to give you a clue.
