Error message

Any ideas? I've got a part that's come in from NX 4 and it's made up off pocket features and hollows and similar items, i'm trying to mod it as starting again is a no go, it's huge and got some seriously funky surface cuts on it. Everytime i got to delete this one particular rectangular pocket i get this error.

Any help is appreciated.

What version of NX are you using now? Rather than deleting the feature, have you tried deleting the faces of the pocket? Perhaps some synchronous modeling commands will work for you here.

Have you tried to run part cleanup?
Did it come as a UG .prt file or imported by STEP/IGES/Parasolid export?
