Hi dudes!
I need to study a rotating flapping wing subjected to angular velocity depending on time with Nastran.
I found that Nastran does not calculate correctly the centrifugal forces and deformations in the case of the SOL Transient Dynamic/Time History,
while the forces and deformations are correct in the case of Static Analysis.
What I did was to consider simply a rotating beam.
I put omega_z(t)=-10 (SOL Transient Dynamic) and I realized that the beam has a compression stress instead of having a traction stress due to centrifugal force.
The same analysis using the SOL Static gives correct results
Do you guys have any idea?
Thanks so much
