Hi,

I'm trying to transfer data from a restart file of Abaqus Standard to Abaqus Explicit. I'm getting the following error:

***ERROR: NEW STEP DATA IS MISSING FROM THE INPUT FILE WHEN *RESTART OPTION IS
USED. NEW STEP DATA MUST BE DEFINED.


I'm using *IMPORT and defining the required parameters but it seems not to work..
Any tips?

Check the input file templates in the documentation chapter Analysis --> Analysis Techniques --> Analysis Continuation Techniques --> Importing and Transferring Results --> Transferring Results between Abaqus/Explicit and Abaqus/Standard and maybe also some exemplary input decks from other parts of the documentation (for example the springback case).
