Hi,

I was figuring out the program of Patran and testing with a very simple beam. This beam was creating using geometry>primitive>beam
The next step was to mesh this beam but the following message popped up:
question from application FEM
Solid 1 is not triparametric so it cannot be meshed by IsoMesh. Do you wish to skip it and continue?

Which makes it impossible for me to mesh this solid. Anyone any idea how to solve this issue?

thanks

Is the geometry a solid entity? If so, try meshing it using TET10 elements.
