Hi, I am a fairly new engineer designing a moment frame using the First Order Analysis Method. I am doing it all by hand (no software) and was wondering if there is a way to estimate first order interstory drift (delta-h) for a moment frame whose columns are pinned at the base? I need to solve or estimate this value in order to solve for my B2 multiplier.
I read the thread referenced in this one and it looked like that moment frame was fully fixed at base connections, so I am wondering if any of those equations would work for my situation?
