etabs kept repeating" analysis and design sections differ for 4 steel sections." what can

Hi all,

I am learning ETABS now. I am running a etabs model and etabs kept giving the message "Analysis and design sections differ for 4 steel sections. Do you want to reiterate and design?".I kept press yes for more then 6 times, etabs still shown the same message. Does anyone know why i kept getting message like this? Any solution or suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Hi Donnabean, it's because you keep on allowing Etabs to reiterate and design. Choose "No" and manually replace the sections of your failing members. That is more convenient.
