Hello, I am running into some problems defining a simply supported slab system in etabs. When I run the analysis I get really high values for moment in areas where they should be 0. Let me explain myself, beams are simply supported by columns and slabs are jointed to the beams, therefore there is no slab going through the columns, they are only supported by beams (in terms of moment transfer). No matter what I do there always is a zone of high moment at joints, what can be done? Pic related.

that distibution of stresses makes sense. You should read the values outside the cross section of the column (not inside joints). Moreover, you should not stick on local stress peaks, but assume a mean value per a unit surface.
