Does anyone know why SAFE gives error in reading line and ignores some load cases when importing from ETABS?

It's probably a very model specific issue. Things like you describe usually are. At least for the error.

As far as the load cases go, there are differences in capabilities between ETABS and SAFE. So, it's possible the load cases that weren't imported used features that are not supported in SAFE.

If it's dead load, live load, or superimposed dead load, I haven't had problems with those. Maybe it's a different, unusual load case?

Thanks folks.
I realised the load combos for 100%-30% earthquake are affected as the last line not imported. Any other ideas?

I haven't run across that issue. If all else fails, just manually put in the earthquake loads or combos. It's a bit tedious and harder to fix stuff later this way.

Maybe there's a way to "apply" the load case. I haven't tried this myself. It would be like taking the automatically generated loads and making them permanent concentrated loads which can only be manually modified, like a dead or live load case. Just an idea. Then even if there's an error on import, you'd still have the loads.
