Hi,
Anyone can help me on this? It is required by EUROCODE-EC3 to do seal welds on all fillet welds joints like a weldment of Stiffener/Gusset to main beam?
If I have a drawing by my client showing a weld symbol of fillet weld both sides (but not around the plate) I suppose that what is required is to weld the plates by fillet joint both sides, but a small nonwelded space stay on stiffener, can be interpreted as lack of fusion?
Or in other words, where is required the continuously seal weld, i.e., around the contact perimeter?
