European standard steel equivalent

Hello,
I'm looking for a European equivalent (e.g. DIN, EN, ISO) of American material:
steel 1018-1022, plain, case hardened thickness .006/.015, case RC45MIN, core RC - 28/36

This material is used for bolts/screws

Any help is gratefully received.

If the bolts/screws are cold headed, then you can use the following standard:

EN 10263-3 Steel rod, bars and wire for cold heading
and cold extrusion: Part 3: Technical delivery conditions for case hardening steels

The specific grades would be C17E2C (Material Number 1.1147, which is equivalent to 1018) and C20E2C (Material Number 1.1152, which is equivalent to 1020).

The various member organizations that belong to CEN include DIN (Germany), BSI (UK), AFNOR (France), etc. so the officially released versions of this standard are DIN EN 10263-3, BS EN 10263-3, etc.
