Evaluating a lifting lug located in 2:1 head

Hello,

I'm currently evaluating a pressure vessel design.

Most relatively small pressure vessels in the refinery, usually have two lifting lugs welded directly to the 2:1 elliptical head.

If these accessories were welded to vessel shell, WRC-107 would be applicable, in order to evaluate vessel stresses due to the connection while the equipment is being moved from one place to another.

However, I fear this is not the case if the lug is located on the 2:1 head, due to it being eccentric to the vessel longitudinal axis.

I believe a commercial FEA software will be required, in order to check the vessel stresses per Div. 2. Ansys will provide the stresses combination, but these would have to be linearised. Since I have no experience with this analysis, I would very much like to avoid it. PV Elite won't let me put lifting lugs on the vessel head either. I would appreciate any input...

Another solution could be moving the lifting lugs from the vessel head to the shell. WRC-107 should suffice in this case, if I'm not wrong. Forgive my lack of experience.

What is the total PV weight, PV diameter, and what is the PV axis? Vertical or horizontal?

Only two lifting lugs? Why not 4?
 
Vessel design empty weight: 6097 lb
PV inside diameter: 950 mm
PV outside diameter: 980 mm
Total height: About 3584 mm
PV axis: Vertical

There are some similar vessels in the refinery, with only 2 lifting lugs attached directly to the vessel 2:1 shell, eccentric to the axis. That's why we're aiming for only two lifting lugs.
