i need a solution of this question
for an air standard cycle atmospheric air is at 27C it is compressed to the high pressure and then cooled to 30C . the turbine exhausts air at 7 C the air leaving the space is at 11 C if the space is 17 KW determine 1-air flow rate ,2-motor power ,3-high pressure, 4- C.O.P

i dont know if am i right

Q= m cp (T4-T1)
m =17/(1.005(16))

p1=101kpa (P2/P1)^(n/n-1)=(T2/T1)
n=1.4
i dont know T2 i cannot complete.

thanks all

if any one know any thing plzz ,,i am desperate

ETCHYHA: There is not enough information. You need at least: the compression ratio, the volumetic efficiency and the rpm of the engine.

If this is a homework assignment, you should not be using this forum.

If this is an exam question, you should be doing it yourself?

it is neither a 'H.W.' nor currently exam it is an old ex. wanted desperatly to know its answer

ask your prof, they'll help with examples

What do you mean when you say space is 17kw? This sounds like the work output of the turbine. When it comes to thermodynamics if you don't do the homework you won't catch on. You may even wind up working in a gas station.

guys u took that quest.sooo hard on yr selves ease it up i'm a graduated engineer & getting any info. about any thing after graduation is not easy at Egypt my country . any way i get the answer thanks god and
thanks to all,,,
