How do lock the cells in the Excel spreadsheet? They keep moving around when insert a BOM in various assemblies depending description titles and part numbers. I used a default SW BOM excel template and modified it to my desire standard as far as cell widths and heights. Please help.

You can't lock the cells to the widths you want to use. They will change to accommodate the text in the BOM.

Your BOM uses the same text as your Note/Balloon 's do. So the change the height and width you have to change the text or manually change the BOM. If you have Auto update of your BOM on. You will lose all manual changes once it updates again.

You can lock the cells to the widths you want to use IF you uncheck "Use document's note font when creating the table" when you FIRST insert the BOM. The option is in the BOM properties on the Configuration tab. Once the table is inserted, the option is unavailable.
