Hello everyone!
I'm relatively new to ABAQUS Explicit and I'm currently trying to model a Drilling problem.
I have my Drill part as a deformable body but have defined a Rigid Body Constraint to it using a Reference point (on the tip of the Drill).
When I submit my Job, the analysis stops after a while due to an ERROR of Excessive Rotation of the node to which the Reference Point is assigned.
I tried several things to solve the problem but the only thing that seems to work is to reduce the rotational velocity that I have defined through boundary condition. When I reduce the velocity to much lower levels, analysis proceeds normally.
Of course this is not an actual solution to my problem, so If there is anyone that has dealed with the same issue or has an idea how can I overcome it, PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!
