Hi
I have an EGB in front of me, and I would like to open it, because there is a small component which has melted inside of it.
The EGB looks like this (see link):
In the picture, on the curved side, one can see that there is some kind of bolt (it looks rough and fragile in reality) with something black (it's a spring) under it. It is this bolt that stops me from opening the case, because I don't know its function.
So my question is: what is this bolt with the spring under it for? If I open the housing, will I be able to close it again as before without too much trouble?
