.exp file+catia v4

I received .exp file & able to download the file from Autoweb but when i tried to put into catia v4 the execution failed.
Could anybody explain me if any solution.

use the extract from seq command under the catia utils menu...that will extract any v4 data for you



tools-> utility-> extractmodelfromsequential

nad3ooo's instructions will work for V5.

If you want to do it with V4, use the CATIMP utility to import the file back into CATIA.

Thank you very much for your reply, but still the question is remaining.

I able to download the xyz.exp (its catia v4 data) from Autoweb but received message below while trying to put data into catia v4

"xyz.exp is a directory (not copied)" & hence the execution failed.
