Does anyone here have experience exporting to .pdf preserving layers? NX would be preferred (of course), and I do not have Acrobat, but I am interested to hear any thoughts on this.

Thanks,
KLINE

Not sure what you mean by 'preserving layers', but I'm pretty sure that this is not supported in NX, at least if you're talking about how Layers are used in an NX part file.

John, what I meant was having the ability to turn layers on and off while viewing the .pdf. I believe we have found a way by building .pdfs one layer at a time and merging them into a single document via an overlay using a PDF Writer. From a NX perspective, the wish (I guess) would be to write the .pdf out from NX with layers as named in NX showing up in the pdf reader the same way with the ability to turn them on and off. (Probably not an enhancement as Hide/Show is the drawing directive rather than layers.)

Thanks,

May I suggest that you contact GTAC and have them open an ER (Enhancement Request) to this effect.
