Hi all,

I am using RAM CONCEPT 5.0.1 to generate the mesh of the plan, to use it in ETABS 9.7.4 I couldn't find a direct exporting option ...
So how can that be done ?

Thanks in advance

Export RAM Concept mesh plan as a .dfx file then import that file into ETABS.

Be sure to clarify the layer of the mesh in AutoCAD, so when you import into ETABS it recognizes it as slab and automatically assigns it a slab section.

I have a problem in the scale.. although I have checked the units, whenever i import my drawing to ram its not to scale so i try to scale it by the the scale tool. after that the problem continues when exported to etabs, i cant figure out the error ?

When you import any drawing file into Concept you select the drawing units once you have selected the file. Drawings exported from Concept (that start in Imperial units) will have one unit = 1 inch which is pretty standard, but you can always scale things in CAD easily.
