Export to IDEAS file

Hi, guys!
I want to ask you if there is some CAE or FEA code (free or inexpensive if possible) that exports IDEAS files?

What exactly are you trying to export to I-Deas ?

We are using a FE code named SOLVIA, which is something similar to ADINA, but without a pre- and post-processor. SOLVIA imports FE models (mesh+materials) from I-DEAS files. So we need a CAE or FEA code that is able to export a model to I-DEAS, so then we can import it in SOLVIA.

Hi

Femap har an I-deas button. But I have never tried it so I don't know if it is any good, and Femap is not free. So it may not be of any interest for you.

I-DEAS use to export simulations in unv format, gMesh (free, gnu) can import/export in unv; also NX can import/export in unv.
