Hi all,

I am trying to create an xyz table in excel of a series of points for a series of support columns. The customer wants an XYZ table for points about each of these column assemblies for their inspection equipment. These column assemblies and their details have all been created based off of global coordinates and as such all share the same origin location. The problem is these points need to be referenced off of a specific coordinate system for each column assembly which are independent of the global coordinate system.

I have seen plenty of macros and out their to create an xyz plot of 3D sketch points, but they have all been with reference to the default XYZ coordinates. Is there a way to get the xyz position of points with reference to a user created coordinate system? I know I can get the measure tool to do it, but I am looking at having to do around 2000 points and was hoping there was a way to automate the process somewhat. I am still quite new to creating macros and don't have a full grasp on all of the functions available, but I was hoping some of the experts on here would have any suggestions.

Thank you,

Alex Vincent
